The weather in Calpe can be summarized as mild temperatures with plenty of sunshine. It is a municipality located on the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante, offering a Mediterranean climate, with a pleasant and constant weather.

Mild temperatures twelve months a year, is the best definition we can use for the weather in Calpe. The average temperatures range between 18 and 19 degrees Celsius. In spring and autumn, average temperatures range from 24 degrees maximum to 14 degrees minimum. In summer, average temperatures range between 29º maximum and 20º minimum, occasionally exceeding 30 degrees. In winter, the climate of Calpe is mild and the average temperatures range from 18 degrees maximum to 10 degrees minimum, rarely dropping below 7 or 8 degrees. The rainiest months are in autumn, although Calpe registers over 300 days of sunshine a year.

These weather conditions bring another big advantage in addition to assuring you good weather for your holidays.   The sea water is able to reach temperatures of 26 ° C in the middle of August, making the bathing season extend from May until the end of October.
